depends how big he is. not long term, but they do grow slow and a baby would do just fine in one for a while.

We understand that monsters are appealing, and yes we all want them but with a 29 gallon and no room to upgrade (you stated before your on a budget), you can't do all that much. Like i said before, try making 1 thread asking for suggestions instead of posting a bunch of can i have this threads? please and thankyou.

A datnoid could live in a 29 for a year easly imho. But The babies ones do seem to grow faster than the older ones. so It gives u awhile to get some $$

yeah i have like 4 in a 55 and im thinking about buying a 150 already

skip the 150 and get a 180 a dat in a 29 hmmm probally get a year but what is the upgrade tank gonna be a 55 wont cut it its still 12" deep and a 75 @18" deep will only be another short term thing if you cant house it from the begining you shouldnt buy the fish
