Datnoid treatment

Anyone know what' on the pectoral fin and best course of treatment? These are fresh imports that I just picked up currently quarantined. 8 inch datnoid

Salt to the tank, 1 tsp per gallon. Add some Melafix. Water changes every 2 days 50% or more. Readd the salt and Melafix for the amount removed with the water change.

Thank You. Currently on second day of doing salt/water changes.

I have melaflix so ill give that a go now.

Any idea what that is on the pectoral fin?

Kind of looks like viral reaction/disease. Similar to datnoid disease. Likely occurred due to the stress of importing. Should recover in several weeks.

Is it safe to use Prazipro along with this treatment as Well (melaflix)?

You can add he prazipro. No prob. Won’t be an issue.

Think my last dat had a reaction to the meds. I've been using melaflix and saw some healing. Today I added prima for the first time went to check on him and his eye was bulges out and turned dark.

Doing a 80% water change and dosing with Epsolm salt instead
