Datnoid with bichir

Hi, I have a 3" ornate bichir and was wondering if getting a silver datniod at 3" to 4" would be alright in a 30 gallon tank?

It should be fine to keep together. Keep in mind silver dats usually require a little salt in the water. Bichirs aren’t too tolerant long term of brackish conditions.

Yes i am upgrading to a 75 very soon and final tank prob a 175 to 200 gal

It’s fine to have them together. I have a 9” silver with a bichir group. My regiment is adding 1.50 - 1.75 cups of rock salt per 100 gallon. This seems to work out fine for me for both parties.
