Datnoids and clown loaches

I have 3 pcs Indo tigers, with some 4 - 7 inch clown loaches.
the datnoids used to be about 4 inches when i put them in the tank, but now my datnoids are about 8 inches.
I'm worried they might eat the smallest clown loaches?
any experience with clown loaches and dats?

they are fine together

clown loaches can hold their own pretty well, even when very small

If it looks like it can fit in their mouth they'll eat it. I lost my entire school of clown loaches cause my dats out grew them

thanks, Might have to get rid of my bigger dats , for me my dats grow faster than my loaches.
I guess they get tp eat more.

My friend had some very small clown loaches with some very good size dats and he had no problems.

I love them both, dats and CL. Adding some covers for the CL should reduce the risk if you still wanted to keep both, like pvc pipes or such. Pics?
