datnoids and live plants

Anybody ever have live plants with there datnoids? I have a large lily and a large aponogeton. Haven't found anything else that can withstand abuse from large fish. ( I have a 7" albino cat / 5" dat / and 2 3" Moonlight Gourami.

I'm keeping a datnoid in my planted. Got crypts, swords, and Java fern. If he doesn't like a plant somewhere, he rips it apart. Lol. I just let him do what he's gotta do.

I'm also curious about this, I wouldn't have thought that Datnoids would be dangerous to plants seeing as how they're ambush predators. Not that it matters for me to much since I keep mine in a bare-bottom tank. But its still something im curious about.
