Datnoids and pellets

For those who have their datnoids on pellets how did you guys do it and what kind of pellets do you feed them? Thanks.

I feed a combination of various frozen foods and sinking shrimp pellets. The sinking shrimp pellets were meant for my bichirs and my dat jumped on them. I did not train him to take pellets. It just happened by chance. Now he will take any pellet.

I placed the massivore inside small pieces of shrimp until the dat started taking the pellets by themselves.

i just got 3 new tigers
2 x IT
1 x NTT

1 of the IT was eating pellets the 1st day it was put in the tank
the NTT was very skinny
and the other owner of the 2nd IT said he tryed feeding pellets but it wont eat them

i gave them a good feed of live ghost shrimp today and thats it all they will be offered is hikari sinking carnivore and massivore everyday

if they don't eat thats their problem it may take up to 6 weeks before they start eating the pellets

don't panic and be strong they will eat them sooner or later

^ i like the "EAT OR DIE" method, i'm trying that now with all my Dats and my RTG!

Neither of my little IT's is eating pellets but one is growing faster than, and bullying on, the other. If I starve them I fear the little guy won't be able to keep up. So, 'eat or die' anyway?
Wait, stupid question..... it's called 'eat or DIE'. Duh!
I guess they'll be getting frozen until I can think up another strategy.

yeah im doing the "EAT OR DIE" method on mine but I stuff broken massivores into shrimp. but the bichirs hit it fast so my dats gotta learn how to compete. If you raise tem from young you can have them started on prepared foods easier

"eat or die " as a general rule is plain dumb ....alot of people killed dats that way. Ivan posted on AP site an article on how to approach the starving method which actually makes sense.
