datnoids and red texas???

I wouldn't do it. Unless your planning on buying the SRT I have for sale then by all means yes, that would work out awesome....

ive done it before its ok, but make sure you take them out when the red texas get bigger. i got rid of mine before it grew to big.

I wouldn't do it if that was all there was in the tank and they were the same size. That said, I had no problem putting an AT into a CA community tank. The cichlids left it alone and just mauled each other. Also, if the Dat was MUCH larger than the cichlid, it would work.

I currently have a 10" texas female in the same tank with (2) 5" NTTs. Never had a problem, but that doesn't mean that you should do it.
