Can or is there a dat that can live in a 72" 18" 18" for life or will i have to sell him when he or she get's big ?

or just say no dat ?

It's possible that it could eventually outgrow the tank, but that would take a very long time. I think you'll be ok getting one.

I di have some fish in there I have a EBJD in there atm with a Synodontis sp. hybrid(4) and a clown loach there is a tire tack eel but he has some swim blater probs and is not doing very well :( but i hope it gets better.

Any stocking help would be great. i have seen 1 vid with the dat with a ebjd and seem to be doing good or is it a bad idea ?

there all small like ebjd is 2" clown loach is 2 " cat fish is the bigegst with about 6" but hides all the time tire track is dieing from some thing i have no idea what i have treated the tank with salt and raised the temp but he is still not good i am thinking about killing it so its not suffering :( but i dont know

A datnoid with an ebjd can work but it really depends on the individual fish, cichlids are pretty unpredictable when it comes to adding fish to their tank. It definitely can work but it's not a yes or no answer. Just observe your ebjd's behavior towards your other fish and that may help give you an idea if it could work. Also ATs do need brackish as they get older which is why I sold mine, just didn't want to do a brackish tank right now. Really any dat could live in a tank of those dimensions for a while, their growth slows the larger they get. I say go for it but expect to eventually upgrade or re-home depending what kind you get.
