Anyone here keep angelfish and dats together in a community? Just wondering if this combo would work.

I do. I had the angels only because they outgrew their prior tank. I have a pair of them. They are in with a 6" IT. Sometimes there are fights but the angels definitely hold their own. At least mine do, they are pretty big and tough.
