dats and chicken

currently have 6 dats, 2 is 8", 3 is 4" and the biggest one is 10". tank mates are 2 silver aro, 3 ornates and a sen,

ever since i got the biggest one, all 3 dats have stopped eating. i usually feed market shrimps. however today, i found out that the big dat only eat when it is hand fed, and will spit prawns out, but not chicken... is it okay to feed dats chicken?

Many people in Thailand and singapore use chicken regularly in their dat diet. Just make sure it is thoughroughly cooked.

Why must it be cooked?Doesnt this destroy a lot of the nutrients?

Salmonella poisoning. I wouldnt risk it with my dats. I'd stick with market shrimp and frozen prawns. or cook the chicken
