Has any1 here ever kept dats and discus together? I know that there is no way the dat could eat the discus and I know that the discus would never bother the dat I just wanted to see if any1 here has house these 2 together. I was thinking of adding a few well really maybe 2 or 3 discuses in my dat tank. Right now all that's in my main tank is a 9 maybe 10" dat 4x 6-7" loaches a 6-7" tin foil and a motoro 4" what do you guys think. IMO I say yes but I just wanted to hear you guys' thoughts.

i would say its possible... and yes the dat can't eat the discus but it can bother the discus.

Discus are shy fish , they might just start hiding and even stop eating if you mix them with datnoids or other aggressive predators.
I am sure that some discus would die within a few weeks. Maybe some would survive. I know nothing about dats. Some discus can't even live with other discus. I kept some brave discus with a black aro but I wouldn't go any further than that.
I will do it, if you do it.. in that case, I am in more risk than u are, lol...
