I have two tanks set up, a 180 and a 125. I have all WC fronts in both that are adults around 6 in+ I am thinking of putting a couple Dats in the 180 and making it more of a show tank. Anyone keep fronts and Dats together, any issues?

i had burundi and Indo's together for a while with no problems. THey make good tankmates.

what about hiding spots, right now I just have a few river rocks and a pvc tube in the 180. I heard dats like to hide,,,my fronts dont seem to care about caves. Should I add more for the Dats?

I keep an 8 inch blue Zaire Front Male, with my Indos.

All get on fine, displaying to each other quite often.:D

But, I am thinking of selling him, as it just doesn't quite look right in there (imo), as the front is from different region of water.

the different regions does bug me a little but most people wouldnt have a clue lol.. I like the contrasting colors and I think some big males and big dats would be pretty cool. I will update later what I do

nice pic, I guess I could put all the fronts in the 180 and make the 125 a dat tank. is 125 too small?

A 125 g will be fine for tigers. But once they start breaching 14-15 inch mark, the tank may begin to look smaller than before.
It will take a many years to get that big though, and u have luxury of the 180 also.
