I have recently aquired a 8"-9" inch jardini through a trade (thank's Vien!!!). Anyway I had a 10" clown knife which the jardini f*%ked up. Once in a while I see the jardini try to take swipes (looks like he's trying to take a bite) at my dats; which average from 5" - 6"; I also have 4" - 5" clown loaches in the tank and a 5" ornate bichir. Do you guys think my fishes would be safe from this jardini....

Chances are the jar will only get worse.

I am experiencing it right now. I'm getting rid of him cuz his attacking some of my fish. So either get rid of him or get a new tank for the others.

thanks guys. guess I need a new tank

Hey bro,
I would have to say no it wont work. I lost some fish that i wished I wouldnt have to my jardini. The thing is you never can tell when its going to happen, theres no warning, just dead or missing fish. I wouldnt risk it. $0.02

Don't like the chances :(

It could work...but its up to you whether its worth the risk..

Unfortunately, I have to agree with everyone else. Absolutely amazing fish, beautiful colours but personality wise these fish are unhinged! I have had one at work for well over a year - everyone loves it but no-one wants just one tank with one fish in it around here.

If you have the option, set up a tank just for the Jardini and stand proud of one of the high Lords of monster fish!:headbang2

i was wondering if pulchers can live with african/green aro..would the aros get too agressive just like jardinis?
