Should i use less lighting for dats??? I've got ones that are fairly stable they come to the front of the tank when they see me; but as soon as i turn on the light they go hide. Do dats not like lighting?? should i keep my lighting on for longer periods of time to get my fishes used to it?? what can i do about this...is there anything???? Any1???

i agree! my dats would hide in the morning since they get morning sun plus my light bulb. some would still go out. i have some large anubias plant and they hide under the leaves. 
at night... when all lights are off.. they are very very very active... they would swim near and wherever i am at. i love my dats.. i think it takes them to get to use to it. but i have been trying. no luck yet. maybe when they get bigger they don't have any place to hide anymore.
