:iagree: ....but seriously, how old is the snakehead?

If you can find a dat that is substantially larger than any of the mouths in the tank, sure.

i have a spotted gar, black arrowana and rainbow snakehead can i throw a dat in tha mix?

Snakehead...wouldn't that be illegal??? :nono:

Anyway, the SH would be the biggest problem in that tank. You would have to get a good sized dat to put with him because dats grow very slowly so the SH will outgrow it quickly.

It's pretty much the same rule with rest of those guys too. If the gar is small, he'll ignore it and the aro won't really bother anything it can't fit into its mouth.

What are the sizes of these guys anyway??

pshhh the snakehead is the least of your worries. rainbow's aren't that aggressive. I reckon your dat would would be ok in there, thats if it is of a decent size. However i would recommend removing your rainbow soon as it might turn into someones lunch.

i have kept very large aros with very small tigers in the past for some reason other fish dont like eating tigers i think it has something to do with the sharp dorsal fin

blk aro-15",spotted gar 15",rain snakehead 8"

Very nice...have you posted pics of these guys??

I think you'll be fine. My gar is about the same size and he shows no interest what so ever in my dats. I have a silver about that size, and he's in with some 3" dats without any problems.

Based on Euge's post, the SH shouldn't cause a problem...I say go for it.
