I have two 7"-8" widebar dats in my 100 that I want to move into my 200 with a 16" silver aro and two monos, 12" and 13", and 3 red hook silver $s 5"-7". Do you think the widebars will be okay? Or should I wait until they are closer to 10"?

just give em to me... to be safe.

Just kiddin the widebars should be fine... but its risky with a couple hundred dollar fish...

Those bass can be territorial. Keep an eye on them.

Very true, but i think the 5" Red hook would be beaten up before the 9" Dat. Keep a close eye tho.. they are expensive!

I think shouldn't be any problem.... my Dats and Pb doesn't fight at all:D

I've seen it done. Pbass are more aggressive to their own kind. I would add them but keep an eye on them for a little.

If the pbass are on live food you may have more problems as the pbass might see others as food.

they should be fine as long as the bas isn't really agressive.. so lie every 1 else said... keep an eye on it

Thanks for all of the input guys. I added the widebars into the fold and so far things are going okay, but the widebars are closer to 7" and my largest pbass is now easily 14" and he has expressed interest in the widebars. While I'm not sure if he is quite large enough to eat them, but it's close enough that I don't want to chance it. I'll be adding a divider back to the tank tonight just to be safe.

I currently have two 9" and 11" Indo dats in with various Cichla ranging in size from 14" to 22". The dats definitely get bullied by the larger temensis, but have not sustained any damage in the many months they've been housed together. :(
