thinking about adding some tin foild barbs to the tank to make my dats more active, what do you guys think? the barbs will be bigger then the dats..

It works great just remember tinfoils grow fast and do better in groups of 5 or more some will say less in the shoal works best with 5
Tinfoils are great cleaner fish they even eat my rays crap
I have a shoal of 10x 12inch tinfoils with a mix of 5 gold and 5 red tails
No problems with the tigers at all
Go for it just remember the size of them in a 5x2 mine were about 5inch when I got them about 15 months ago now they are 12 inch but the red tails grow slower and stay a bit small as my gold ones are much bulkier and deeper body

ook just bought 2 barbs, they had two xl barbs, 12$ each haha, will post up pictures, i originally wanted 3..they are good size too about 10" i hope they all get along
Nah, that's cool. Those barbs are huge. I used to have 5 of them and they were such pigs but they really livened up the tank. btw nice dats.
