Well I have a 4” Indo and a 4” Silver dat and im wanting to move them into my 125 with my larger polys theirs 13 in their that range from 7” all the way up to 16” do you think I may have problems with them getting picked on theirs really not many hiding spots in it just the one piece of drift wood that I have in the middle of the tank were most of the polys bunch up under their currently in a 75 with a leaf fish, 2 leopard bush fish, 2 whiptail cats, 1 retro and 1 del.

Keep both fish well fed and you'll be good.

What size are the 16" bichirs?

Probably right around 16" ;)

Woah, i donno, that's pretty big. I was leaning more towards 12". :):ROFL::ROFL:

Dats are usually pretty safe from being eaten due to their spines. But those bichirs, whatever size they may be ;), are just going to continue to grow a lot faster than the dats so you may see problems eventually.

Bichirs grows slower than dats..or at least at the same rate.

Once both hit 12", they grow EVEN slower. They may pack girth before length

I have a 20" endlies along with 20 plus other bichirs ranging from 12" to 19" with 20 dats ranging from 5-6" to 16"

No problem at all

:eek::confused::eek::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::confused::confused::confused:

Let me ask a question to you: Which weighs more, a pound of cotton or a pound of lead?

i dont think 16" endli would work it would eat it if its hungry

well i don’t think ill have a problem of them being eaten its just that they seem to be so skittish i feel that they would probably end up getting scared off and just hide up at the top or in the corners all scared and stressed out.
