i have a couple of babys dats of 3cm in a 60 L tank in my fishroom and the temps are getting near 32degrees celsius 90F and they are more active and hunting more. the heater is set to 26C (79F) is this bad ?
My fisroom is like a green house whit glass roof so it gets sun from the top wall day

90 is a bit hot i keep mine at 86 all the time with no problems

My temps are getting hot as well with this heat wave in NY. This morning the water was about 86F. My 3 indos were more active as well, and more aggressive at feeding time. I just hope it doesnt get too much hotter, for mine and my fishes health.

I would say 90 degrees is too hot,try to keep it at 82;)

Wurm agrees. +1

the problem is that i can not lower temp.they look very active and hunting the gambusias like mads, also whit dam is citala ,SAL, and a albino senegalus
all being babys , iam puting the citala and bichir in a 200l tank because they are getting a bit big, the tank have 3 filters, 750l backpak, a 1000l inside and other 200l,

mine go between 86 and 90degrees F and never had a problem with it being summer my tank pretty much stays at 90 but my pump is basically a heater

yesterday i got 2 more indo dats from Felipe ,
they start to figth whit the others 2 but now everyone nows is place.
Felipe was feding bloodwormes and pellets , so in by tank they are getting crazy hunting gambusias, full bellys this morning:D
