Dats with Archers

I am curious about the compatibility of a school of 6 archers with a Dat. I have talked with various friends that have owned Dats and they have informed me that the archers would be in danger of a Dat. Is there a species of Dat that would work?

Has anyone ever kept the two species together?

They'll be fine together. Archers go really well with tigers in my opinion.

As long as the archer wont fit in the tigers mouth.

I keep IT, NGT and AT with 2 archers @ 5 inch each (toxotes chatereus)

i have archers with silver dats indo dats and new guinea dats with no problems

there is a couple archers at my LFS, how do you know if they are FW? They claim they are, but they also claim a ton of other brackish fish are FW.

They are supposed to be brackish. I would assume they know what type of water they are keeping them in. It sounds like they don't know what they are doing then.

Should be fine. I've kept this combo for years.
