Dats with Frontosa?

I will like to ask if i could add a Ftontosa with my dats? Will the water PH level be a problem?

pH shouldn't be an issue if the frontosa are captive bred. What kind of frontosa are you getting? I'm currently thinking about adding Zaire Blue Kapampa with my Indo dats + NGT. I've seen frontosa and datnoids together before so should not be an issue.

I should be getting a blue zaire one. Depending on the price at my LFS how is their growth rate? I read up from somewhere is not so good to just keep one? Or will it do well alone?

With Dats, it's good to keep just one or in a group. A pair will most likely fight all the time.

Datnoids:

• grow slow
• either keep 1 or 5+ (always keep 1 NGT per tank though)

Frontosa:

• grow slow
• keep 3+
