you never know, dats can be grumpy and so can aros. I assume by red dragon arowana you mean a red asian arowana and not some glorified jar or something.
but generally yes. make sure the aro is a bit bigger than the dats, some may say the aro will outgrow the dats and eat them but I say a 10 cm dat is one hell of a tough meal for most aros, especially since asians stay smaller than south american aros. when you add the aro you might want to add some dither fish. you introduce these fish at the same time as the aro to prevent the dats from beating on your aro only. doing this your chances of making this work is really good.
