Daughters Ball python

My daughter has a ball python, He Is probably 2 ft, she has had him about a year, He has eaten pretty regular until recently. He Has not eaten in about a month, His enclosure is at about 90 degrees on the warm side. she basically follows a book and tries to keep his humidity where it needs to be. What would be causing him not to eat??

Not positive but I think balls go on hunger strikes? Where they don't eat for a long period of time.

Yep...welcome to the world of ball pythons. Mine went 8 months once without eating.

Was that sarcasm? I can't tell (shrugs).

Honestly, ball pythons frequently fast for seemingly unknown reasons. Just check your temps, humidity, etc to make sure everything is hunky-dorey. Snakes can sense rapid fluctuations in the weather outside and sometimes that throws them off as well.

Just to make sure. What should the temp and humidity be?

Ambient tempterature should be around the low 80s with the warm end about 95'F.

Moderate humidity, somewhere between 50-60% I believe.

They do somtimes miss a feed mine has missed some before.
