Just a bit ago I came in and herd my FX5 makeing a low buzzing noise
...its not obtrusively loud, but it sounds almost like a noisy Air pump buzz. Definately louder than when I first fired it up (I think, I was jamming out when I set it up). I fear there may be a partical of sand or Substrate Pro in the pump, but the pump is pushing water just fine, and the intake is a good 4+ inches above the sand. The only other pump I have herd a hard partical in was my mag 350 and it SCREAMED intermitenly. This sound is not intermitent, nor a grinding/crunching sound. Is this buzz normal and I might have not noticed at first? I unpluged and restarted it and the buzz was there the instant I pluged it in, once again no crunchy or grinding sounds and the pump dose not feel hot or warm. Opinions? advice?
