The wait is driving me nuts.

These are the first good eggs from my one pair and I am patiently waiting to see if they will hatch.

when you candle them they move. Their legs move and their head moves so I know they are fertile and doing well.

I uncubated them a bit lower that I think I should have so I hope they dont take forever to hatch. 70-73 ish.

Just needed to vent. :nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly:

that sounds cool. If they are doing that well then I am pretty sure they will hatch for you. Good luck man!

I was hoping they hatch by day 90 but being that they are no where near 78 I will try to be patient for a few more days :-)

Be prepared for pictures. My mew camera has a pretty good closeup setting so I hope I can get some egg pipping pics. Oh hell I just hope I am home for it. I check them every morning before work so i could alwasy bring them with me to watch them hatch.

Should both eggs hatch around the same time?

They usually do hatch at about the same time within a few hours of each other.

On a side note, yesterday I found 2 baby cresteds in with my adults. I guess they had a pair of eggs hidden that I didn't know about! I found one of them curled up next to my male crested. I'm glad to see they didn't eat the babies.

Very cool surprise.

I keep my adults on papertowels with critters keepers for humid hides and lay boxes that way I dont miss eggs.

Although lately I have added potted plants so there is always the possibility that they will lay their eggs in there.

Yes I have candled them. They look fine. They move when candled.

I check on them this morning... day 90. they are starting to look like my pygmy eggs do before they hatch. A little swelling them some discoloration/ thinner looking areas.

you guys had said before that it might take a bit longer due to the lower temps so I am just waiting it out. Patiently.
