Posting some pics of Credit River fish. Bunch of small mouth bass and creek chub. Didn't keep any but anybody have experience with creek chub keeping?

I didn't have luck with creek chubs. I think they need fairly cold water.

Are you keeping all of those smallmouth?
No I didn't keep them. Found a good spot and caught them one after the other. Kept them long enough for a few pics. Can't seem to catch anything big, just small enough to tempt me to try to keep them but I know they get big so I thought better of it.

That Chub looks more like a hornyhead than a creek.

Either way both fish can tolerate a lot of different conditions and I wouldn't say either require particularly cold water and eat just about anything (and everything so be careful).

i also have found this stream/river kinda thing where there are a bunch of fish. but all there are only small fish. i wonder where the big guys are. there are many bluegills and stuff, but also a lot of small catfish and bass.

Teleost, I assumed it was a creek chub, never really saw one live till then. I'll have to look at the picture again and google hornyhead, oh boy. :)

Interesting about the water temp, that's good to know for later. Thanks.

I also say nay on creek chub, but would buy hornyhead or river chub.
