Probably the Poly section
so do day geckos (phelsuma and lygodactylus) require bamboo, or would they be fine with cork rounds? the cork is much easier to get around here. and i finally found day geckos, they are super hard to find here. at the lrs they have a phelsuma m. grandis tank with cork back ground and big cork rounds and the geckos seem fine. but every where i look it says they require bamboo. i would really like to get some of them, but cork tubes are way easier to find than bamboo tubes that are longer than 6 inches(thoose wouldnt work with a 10 inch gecko) and i think they look better. thnx

No, they really don't require bamboo unless you plan on breeding the smaller species which commonly lay eggs inside hollow bamboo tubes. Lygodactylus do the same thing. I do have bamboo in their setup and they do often lay eggs inside them.

If you mean to just sleep in or whatever then yes, a cork tube would be fine. But it would be way too big for them to use as a place to lay eggs. They like small, tight fitting hollow tubes such as bamboo to lay their eggs in. The reason for this is because they're protected better from predators since the access to them is smaller.
