is this convention in the same place each year or does it move around the country

It's in the same location (Washington DC area, this time near Dulles Airport in VA), but every other year (even years).
Friday is socializing, Saturday are the speakers, Sunday is an auction. All days, vendors are selling, either at the convention or in their hotel rooms.
