Only experience i have is with jebao and have no issues with it all. Will probably get another just because of the price but wanted some opinions on other brands.

Looking to run the pump on the lower end of the spectrum and get around 1000gph to 12000 from it.

Looking at the waveline pumps that DN328 DN328 suggested a while back.

Are there newer models ?

Whats the difference from appex ready and not appex ready ?

Anyone use these ?

I just ordered the non Apex Ready Waveline DC12000 a couple of days ago. I think the Apex Ready version is more geared toward the saltwater community. Plus, I saved some money by purchasing a unit without a function I would never use. From what I've been told, they are exactly the same units, minus the Apex Ready connection port.

Jaws, sent you a response.

I bought an extra 10000II with Apex, and it basically is the same as my non Apex. Def, let us know how you like or don't like it. I'm aware more reefers use it, but as I don't hang out there often, I'd like to hear from folks here.

I know this will be hard to answer but figure with 3 or 4 ft of head what setting do you guys think i would be able to use for around 1000 to 1200 gph ? Overflow is rated for 1600 gals

Oh yeah referring to the dc1000II

They have a chart on their website that gives that info.

I will definitely let you guys know how the pump works once I get it set up and operational. It'll be a couple of weeks as it's going to be used on our soon to be delivered 265 gallon reef ready tank.

Think thats for the max gph though.

Isnt it ?
It might be. I doubt if many/anyone has an actual flow gauge. I looked at buying one......crazy expensive.

Jebao has this out there for there pumps.

I think its atleast in the ball park. Im using the dct6000 on setting 1 if im reading the chart correctly that should be about 760 gph which is pretty much what i figure im gettingimages (1).jpg
