I bought a DD 50 GPD RO unit recently. It is a Nightmare the push fit connections are impossible to disconnect and the instructions could not be worse. They explain nothing and are incredibly sparse.
I started treating water three hours ago and until half an hour ago I had about 3 LTRS (less than half a gallon) in the canister.
For some reason I mover the outflow restrictor valve awy from full flow and slowed down the waster flow. This dramatically increased the RO output which I have tested and got reading of pH 6 Phosphate 0 And nitrate 0.
I presume this is good?
Is the flow restrictor meant to be used this way?
DD could be a lot more user friendly especially towards RO green horns like me
