i was just told to ask on here if i should debarb the ray and force feed him, should i try it, or it a good idea cause this will be my last stand, i have tried everything else

I have never tried such a thing and dont recommend it, holding a ray down and shoving food in its mouth is never going to get it eating naturally, probably kill the poor thing from stress.

If your just going to give up on it you should try and find someone local that can take it off your hands and maybe save it, I am sure someone on here lives in indiana.

i think we are talking about the ray that has been burned.. and has not ate in 3 weeks.. and is now showing signs of malnutrition ..and curling., and a "dent in its head".. not simply a food strike.. i would say desperate times call for desperate measures.. please others give him advice.....

well advice was given and not sure yet if it was taken and done.

i have took everyones advice and i don't wanna give up at all, its just that its my first ray and iam discouraged and wanna give up, i tried the turkey baster and nothing, i tried everything

grab a straw, stuff it with coconut husk and slid'er over the barb and your good to go ;) or just let it be natural and leave it.

read my last post I put on your "dent in head thread" before you do anything..
