I was going to start the process of replanting my tank soon, but was wondering if there is anything to dip my plants in that will kill worms, snails and other pests that I dont want in my tank?

I used to do a bleach / water dip (1:10) for about 30 seconds. Works wonders on black beard algae too.

I get the most wonderful hair grass from this lake near my home I have been treating the plants in a small fish tank with fresh water and an overdose of Kordon® NovAqua® plus water conditioner. I have never encountered any snails, worms, or fish infections from doing this. I was shocked that I haven't, but I was taking a chance and the hair grass is just so wonderful I just couldn't resist.

Ive always just put a drop of dish detergant in the bag and added new water given it a light shake and then wiped off leaves and rinsed, always has worked for me.
