Dead cory, busted stomach

Hi, so i woke up to find out the largest of my bandit corys was dead, found him at the bottom of the tank, no fish were really interested in him. The ONLY injury was a bust on his under belly. Idk if something got in or something broke out, but it went for the part that was not covered by "dora" armour. All my fish were actually in, i would say great condition, colors amazing, behavior was just typical, even for all the other corys. Must be honest just yesterday i was thinking what fish would go after a corydora? Nothing cane to mind.

Hello; I have found dead fish before in the same or worst shape. Once a fish dies for any reason the other fish will pick at the body. I have found them with much of the flesh gone. This does not mean that the cory was not attacked but it could be the cory died and the damage was done after.
Not much can be done about this sort of thing. It is the nature of the fish.

Huh... most things leave corys alone, so I agree with skjl47, I think he died and probably got picked on after. That happened to one of my corys too

make sense, but lol y did it die, everyone was fine nitrates 15ppm, everything else 0ppm
