I unfortunately saw that Jen lost her Arowana recently and is having it mounted, so it made me think, what do you guys do when you have one of your monsters die on you? I got 2 P's in plastic bags in the freezer, not really sure what to do with em, maybe i'll make a necklace with the jaws, but I couldnt flush em they wouldnt fit.

If they were nice size piranha you could make skull mounts from them, after I ate my large one I simmered its head in water with a little bleach, picked off all the flesh I could then left it in the water overnight. the next day I simmered it for another 30 minutes in salt water then set it on an ants nest . A couple of days later it was clean so I let it dry in the garage for a week and them dippped it in polyurethane after glueing the jaw in place. I mounted it on a dowel stuck in a little wooden base, eventually sold it for $25.

Freeze them until the morning of trash-day, so that they don't stink up my garage. There is no sense in keeping them frozen in your freezer. Unlike some of you, my freezer space is somewhat limited.

feed them to my cat for a nice treat. since he waited patiently for him to die.

Uhh..most of these fish were already dead. I put my fish in the freezer once they die.....have a hard time lettin go sometimes.....I have my 8" silver aro in there.....thinkin of maybe boilin the head like guppy said...lol.....would love to get the whole skeleton....but i think the bones would fall apart too easily...soooo i'll let it slide......
