dead gar...

I woke up this morning and saw my fish dead.. I don't know why this happened. I've been feeding him Massivore Delite, shrimp, superworms, and feeders for about a year.. It looked healthy but I could be wrong.. Does it look healthy in the picture? whats the cause of its death and what kind of gar is it?? Can anyone tell me?

No way knowing what caused it, without an autopsy, assuming all your params were adequate to the species...

Sorry for your loss.. hard to say with any certainty what caused teh death but if it was sudden and no signs prior I would lean towards a spook and breaking it's back even though there appears to be no signs of trama to the body.

As has been stated hard to say without more information about water parameters, tankmates, and if it had been displaying any odd behaviour.
