all of us with large fish (and can keep them till death) will eventually have to deal with their deaths. my question is what do you do with them when they die assuming you don't own a supertoilet.

Bury them in the garden. There is no sense in throwing away good fertilizer.

Toss em in the woods for the racoons. Or rap them in papertowel and throw them in the garbage.

What I have done is bury them about 3' down in the garden, although I usually have to freeze them first because most of the time I cant do it right away.

Bury them or put them in a trash bag and in the trash.

Some people keep them for a while in their freezer in a bag, until they decide what to do with them. I know some people that have had some fish in their freezer for a few years! For the most part I have always buried mine.

my alligator gar just jumped out of the tank and im thinking of either keeping the head and possibly getting the flesh off to get a good skull or having it mounted. was only 20 inches though
