Dead Tiger datnoid

I have 5 datnoids in my 100 gallon tank, with some cichlids and clown loaches. Ihave them in my tank for about 3 weeks now. They eat well mostly live guppies. This morning I found one floating all over the show, half dead. The mouth and gills were still moving, so I put it in a net in the water so the other fish don't mess with it but it died half and hour later. I did a water change yesterday, and all my other fish are fine. It also did not have any spots or bite marks. Any ideas or reasons that could have this

check water parameters and get them off of live food.

Thnks water is fine. Other fis are also still ver active. Could be the live guppies. How do I attach a pic?

Sorry bout the datnoid, how big was it?

I do not see how feeding guppies just the day before would cause him to die the next day. It probably is another reason for him dying and you will probably never know.

The dat was stil small about 5 cm. Yesterday one of the dats had a guppy in it mouth for a while with the tail sticking out. I don't know if it choked.

A datnoid choking on a guppy seems unlikely... guppies are rather small, and very easy to damage.

I have 6 datnoids.. 1 was very close to death because they wouldn't eat anything but live... Well, I don't feed live, so after 2 weeks of him not eating, and becoming very skinny, they started eating krill, and pellets.

Without knowing exactly what your water parameters are, tank size, stock, filtration is, we can't really help you. And you can't say your water params are perfect, or good because everyone's parameters are different, and each person has their own idea as to what perfect is.
