They were all fertilized and the male was killing the old fry so I syphoned them out and put them in a net breeder in the opposite corner of the tank. The parents then decided to take care of the fry in the net breeder and forgot about the eggs they had just laid lol :(

Really sorry bro. That's wierd but I usually pull fry before or just as they're laying and always put in different tank. At least you know they'll spawn again in a couple weeks. Keep an eye on the male for next couple days to make sure he doesn't beat oh female now since fry is gone and eggs too. Js

lol yeah I'll keep an eye out for any aggression but so far they don't seem to care at all. They are still watching the fry in the net breeder and every now and then the female goes to fan the eggs, she doesn't seem to notice that they're dead
