and most of it is all sensationalized.. great whites.. yeah right.. there's only 60 or so reported fatalities yearly.. more people are killed by bees

I have a terrible phobia of sharks, which goes back to when I was around 5 and almost got bitten by a hammerhead (basically my dad got the idea that he'd lift me over the side of the tank so I could "tell Daddy if the shark is in there." It was in there, and they jump very high. Now Seaworld has railing and such so that no one can do this.) Anyway, it's so bad that even seeing pictures of sharks makes me cringe and want to die. However, being as scared as I am of them, I can separate fact from fiction and I agree that great whites don't belong on this list. That is, unless they're talking about sheer killing-ability, whether or not it's made use of?

I don't know, but I think they got #1 right. I hate Mosquitoes soooooooo much.

well at least #1 is correct.

found that out like over 10 years ago.

Humans are the number one killer of everything from environment to animal species.
For instance the Chinese ALONE kill over 30 species of marine fish every year, that is 30 freakin species of fish every year!!! Not to say the animals that are killed every day by the rainforests being cut down along with animals never going to be re-discovered again.. Also hundres of types of mosses, fungi, and plants destroyed every year as well...

I think bacteria should be included on that list...

well bacteria aren't animals..

it's not a list of the deadliest THINGS in the world...

would chuck norris be classified under lion, polar bear, or seperate entity all together?

Not sure...But when he sees this list, someones getting their a** kicked..

That list is tottally wrong and incomplete. The number one killer ( in numbers of killings attributed to it ) continues to be the hyppo. Then there are tons of smaller critters like those ausssie octopuses that are way up the ladder.

White sharks kill a minimal number of people per year....
