DEADS in MY FREEZER

Don't know if I'm crazy but, this past year I went through 2 arrowans.
The 1st was my 2yr. old Black. I was really attached to him.
The 2nd was was a baby Australian hybrid that lasted 4 days.
They now live in my freezer as a reminder to always do the very best that I can for my fish.
Every once and a while I'll go into the freezer and take a look at them and remember how beautiful they were and sigh.

Am I crazy, or is there anyone out there who dose the same thing???

You should get them mounted then you can see them all the time rather then your friends thinking they are for the BBQ....

back in the day when i was a youngster, i did put a fish that had died in a jar of rubbing alcohol and it was preserved for years like that until it was thrown away by someone.

why do u freeze them in water??

I froze the black arowana in water because I thought he had moved a little, so if he was still alive he wouldn't suffocate.
