"125gal, complete set up, (2) 350 mag filters, (2) 350w heaters, bio wheel & stand, ready to go, fish too, $475 "

looks like wood stand and standard lights the fish are 2 oscars.Im going to check it out friday. What do you guys think good price or not?Anything that would make or break the deal?

i think it would depend on the condition of the stuff...for the most part imo i would say it's average to slightly high for a used set up

btw what kinda fish are included?? that an important part i overlooked

i'll stick with my original statement i didn't read the whole post

Not a great deal in my opinion unless the stuff is in really pristine condition.
I made a similar purchase with a 150g & the works for $400 but all the stuff was older and not excellent condition. The tank had that pukey looking fake walnut trim and the stand was kinda gnarly.

I'm gonna agree with ewurm and say $400-425. The person selling the tank will likely debate & say they have well over a grand in the tank (they probably do) but tank setups depreciate like new cars fresh out of the showroom.

if its in almost new condision then maybe. i would check it out if i where u. there are a lot of good deas that come up, most of them on here :)

Really depends on the condition as many has mentioned, also the quality and what it is made of.

considering im in hawaii i would jump oh that really quick here.....a guy near me is selling a 75gal with filters and stand and lights for $700. i called out of interest (try to talk him down) he said he sold it the day he posted it. I HATE IT HERE!

Thanks guys Ill go check it out tomorrow.Depending on condition I might get it.Not a lot of used large tanks come up around here.
Theres a woman near me with a never used 125g,sump filter, ugf, heaters and gravel that wont budge from $650 no lights or stand.another guy with a 150g used setup that just lowered his price from $1200 to $800
:screwy: these folks seem to think the tanks get more valuble with age
