Tank's ordered, sump's ordered, all being delivered on the 19th of next month.
So now I’m looking at fish.
The thing is Chatuchak market is the place to buy fish, and its big.
There are authorised dealers there like Shelook red etc. I know that these fish will have come from farms overseas and be chipped.
But then there are other dealers which do not have big banners and really fancy shops, they just have fish in tanks for sale.
The difference is about 100$ U.S up (some times 3 times the price.),form an RTG for authorised flashy shop to a not flashy shop.
The none flashy shops insist the fish are imported and chipped so why the big price difference?
I’m thinking overheads, Franchise prices lower graded RTG.
What’s your ideas guys and girls, they won’t let me take photos in any shops so no pics I afraid.

OK, a more direct question. While buying an RTG i presume the price will be dictated by parentage and how the fish is looking at the time of sale. (most are 12in up at Chatuchauk so they show gold colours already.)

Would anyone care to share how the price difference in RTG's is dictated.
further more, when looking atfish to buy and own what should i be looking out for that could mean a good deal (i.e. a future stunner at the right price.)
