Anybody get to see the video of the louger(sp?) crashing? wow. even i had to cringe!! I was supprised they showed it on NBC. i figured they would chicken out.

It's horrible i can only imagine what the family of the person is going through i mean to die doing something you love..... i don't know if that would be the best way to go or the worst..........

damn that was brutal. i would think in all the dangerous turns they would put padding in the event this happened like in sports like downhill mtb where they pad the trees in the gnarly sections.

+1. I find it hard to believe that after a turn like that, 8" metal uprights could be left exposed....
