My buddy had his Arowana, and two silver dollars die right after he did a much needed water change. Although the arowanas right eye had been getting a little cloudy, but the silver dollars weren't. All were eating and swim perfectly fine. Also they were in a 56 gal grow out soon to be put in my new 220 gal setup. Here are some photos, he is just confused and is curious about how his fish died. Hope you guys can help!😃

If tank water hasn't been changed in a while smaller ie 20% water changes are needed every day until the parameters are in check a sudden large water change is too drastic and could, or in this case did kill the fish.

Might've been pH shock. If your friend wasn't doing WC's often, its possible they changed too much and shut down the systems of the fish.

Lot of things can go wrong with WC's if they aren't frequently done.

Sorry for the loss.

Yeah...and what Aquanero said too ;)
