If I wasn't so pissed off and frustrated and upset right now, I would be crying.

(September 16th):
A large angelfish in my 20 gallon hospital tank completely flips out for a few seconds and "bounces off the walls". In a matter of hours a smaller female angelfish in the same tank is found dead.
Concerned for the well being of the other two smaller angels in the hospital tank, I transfer them back to the main tank that evening. Both have died since the transfer, one within hours. The other within a hour of posting this.

(September 17th):
In my main tank (75 gallons), my Bala Shark has a minor flip out. One hour later a much smaller fish (irian rainbow) is found twirling and flipping around in the water as if his spine were broken. He has died since.
At the same time, my Discus has suddenly developed a white colour on his skin, breathes heavily and if my luck does not turn around -immediately- he will be dead by morning.

If my Discus dies I will be out over $100 dollars in fish, for no apparent reason. I am upset. I am horribly confused and I am worried sick.

Please help me figure out what is going on?

Have you tested your water quality ? Checked your temperature is correct ? That's what I'd do first to try and eliminate the cause

Yes, the water was testied in the both when the first fish died. Both test fine.
The main tank also has angelfish (unrelated to the deaths) tending a batch of eggs as we speak. This tells me that conditions are pretty much perfect, since fish will not lay eggs if conditions are not right.

Not that I'm one to talk, but i'd avoid ever moving fish that are ill; from a hospital tank into a main tank if they look ill, can multiply your problems exponentially.

Can you post the numeric results for your water tests?

even though you tested the water..I'm still calling water quality on this one. Either that or you have one aggressive virus/bacteria/fungus but I'd rule that out for the the moment.

I am sorry for the delay. I have spent the last couple days checking and re-checking water parameters. And the Discus is on the brink, but holding in there. He is now in a hospital tank and being treated as was adviced. (see below)

Both Primary and Hospital tank have reasdings as follows:
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm
pH: 6.5

Still not happy about the other losses, but I can do nothing about it.

I am aware of this and I assure you, these fish were more than recovered fully from thier former ailment.

Having taken pictures and shown them to local aquarium store experts (they're very good!), they beleive he has contracted a fungal infection. I also have found a wound on his gill which may have stressed him, and since I didn't notice or treat for it...he was weakend. He is now being treated as "perscribed" by the aquarium store staff.

Thank you all for your advice and condolences.
