Debating on changing back to black sand

I just got a Thai silk. Since he/she has been in my tank their color has increased a little. I'm thinking of changing back to a darker substrate right now it's pfs. How much more pronounce will their color be if changed to a darker sand like black. Here's a pic I took a few mins ago with pfs.
