i might decide to change to saltwater? do u guys have any heads up advice and also what is the best thing to use to measure the salinity. which is the most accurate? is keeping sw fish hard? what is a good hardy starter fish

a refractometer is better ($60-80) but i've been doing just fine fish a hydrometer ($10)

go S......L......O.....W

Agree with the above, go for a refractometer...I was using a hydometer for ages, always kept my SG 1.025 as per the hydrometer...brought a refractometer, and found out my salinity was 1.031....quite a substantial difference to me..

Loads of advice in the stickies here..Hardy fish to start with are damsels, clownfish, gobys...
