So with a potential pair of my festae forming in my 125 gallon, I was thinking of moving the young pair to another tank with a divider (if they pair) and probably rehoming the others in 2 months.

That would leave this 125 gallon open. I'm undecided on if I should move my parachromis freidrichstalli to the 125 or start the firemouth group.

If I was to put the parachromis in there, would I be able to add anything with him or be best for him to fly solo? I was thinking of adding a vieja bifasciata or fenestrata.
The parachromis is only flares up when he sees the cuban in the other tank try to get aggressive. Parachromis isn't a glass banger.

Any suggestions or advice would help, thx.

I would leave the Festae pair in the 125 and build some caves for the female to get away from the male i know they are slow growers but your male will get to be between 12-15in and if you have extra females save them in another tank incase you need another

I definitely thought about it. I have 2 months to make up my mind.
