What's up everyone!

So, some of you may know that i've had a bit of a rough year. I cancelled my plans for upgrades and sold off my whole stock!
However, i'm back with a vengeance and i aquired a 75gal, friends of mine closed tanks and so slowly but surely my stock went up!
I have 2x 75gal with the following stocks -
1st 75g -
-10x clown loach 5" - 9"
-1x Flagtail prochilodus 4"
- Electric blue dempsey 4"
- 5 eels - (4x tyre track 5" - 15" 1x fire eel 18")
- 2x Silver shark 5" - 9"
-3x filiment barbs 5"
-4x Dats (indo) 4"
-1x Achara catfish 9" (Rescued from 100litre tank)
-3x synos

Tanks running 1x efx 300 and 1x fluval 305 with water changes every 3 days. Water params are fine so no worries there!

Now, i have recently come into possession of a 8x3x3 and a 10x5x3 (LxWxH) however they are HUGE! lol so no space at least for a year, so, my question is as follows.

I could easily get a 7x2x2 glass tank or build a 7x3x2 plywood build. Which has better value for money also taking into account the build time as well.

Forget the 10x5x3 for the moment simply because i dont know if ill have space in a year. The 8x3x3 is definetly a factor. i do honestly think ill be able to get that up and running! I don't want to part with the achara as i adore him and he's full of personality and he hand-feeds and allows me to stroke him!

What are your opinions on the better size?

A friend has also told me he's bringing a silver aro or he's gonna flush it.. If i can't sort it in time, he'll get passed on to a better home

Thanks,
Ayaz

If you have an 8x3x3 I wouldn't be concerned building a smaller tank I would just set that up and move the fish! thats a fair bit of stock for a 75g those eels and dats ;o

Ideally I would be knocking walls down to fit the 10fters :D but you said to leave it out hahaa.

believe me, I want that 10' up so bad. The space just isn't there unfortunately. Honestly, I want this 7' anyway, After the current stock goes, I'm thinking FATF for the 7' so that's the main reason I'm bothering with it

It's just comparing pros n cons for the 7x2x2 and 7x3x2 ply
