Oahu Grown!
Im in the market of another pleco to add to my 55 gal commuity tank (molleys, tetras, etc...) which also currently houses 2 pelcos, a 3" GN and a 4.5" gibby. And I am thinking of adding another pleco but not to sure what to go with, so Im just asking for suggests and some info would be very much appreciated. So at a lfs here, they have a 4" L091 Three beacon, which after doing some search he is the "dragon fin" varient with alot of pattern and going for $60. And they also have a 3" para para which has been there for quiet awhile, and he also looks sharp and going for $50. So as of now those are my two options. And I appreciate suggestions and information, thanks, Joe

For a 55 maybe the Royal. They seem to grow a litle slower, but will have to be moved down the road. The Gibby will need to be relocated eventually.

royal? Not to much interested in a royal. It's between the 3 beacon and the para para but thanks for ur suggestion and with the gibby he's headed for my 210 once he gains more size so he can be with the big boys. Thanks, anyone else?

My bad, though I read L191. The 3 beacon will be a nice addition and may need to be moved to the 210 down the line since they can get 8-9" themselves. I have never seen a para para in person, but pics. look reall sharp.

Para Para as in L-75? They'd be a good fit. Price is a little high, but if you want it, take him. They're omnivores and will eat just about the same foods as your GN. They'll eat some veggies, such as yams and zuccini, so make sure that's in their diet. All of your plecos will eat the vegetables.

Good luck, and let us know what you pick.
